When it comes to Eve’s style, she is on my top five list and has been for about a decade. I just think she knows what works for her and she can be both street and sweet, which makes it a plus. My color for the season is green, whether it be mint, sea foam, lime or just regular old green. It made my day to see Eve rocking the color for an Essence Women in Music event……I am totally loving green.
Tis’ the season ! Spring is almost near :)

Kelly Rowland is another favorite of mine. I love her complexion, hair and feel she’s an overall beauty. It was just as great seeing her in this beautiful orange because it really worked well with her color. I hope she keeps this color in rotation for the Spring. She too, along with Eva and a few others were at the same event as Eve. I would have loved to frolic and watch the stars walk that red carpet. They looked absolutely amazing !

They have some really cute skinny jeans, tops, cardigans and outerwear. I have a cut net/mesh top from there that I rocked with a cami under and it was a hit !!! T.I. and Tiny Family Hustle on VH1

I am an Xscape fan and T.I. fan so I couldn’t help but wonder what you get when you mix these two artists together and create a family……if you saw the first episode you would see that they have great chemistry, a mutual respect and love of family and they truly love one another. It’s a very cute show thus far and fans will get to see sides of both of the lovebirds. As we see T.I. has a soft side when it comes to family and pint sized Tiny has a rough/hood edge to her that we didn’t see back in the day. I love it and think they complement one another in a unique way. I love how close their family is and the kids are very mannerable which is a plus.

Some may watch the show in disbelief that they have a bond and family and others will watch and think wow , “I want a guy to feel me as much as he feels her,” and vice versa. At any rate, so far so good we shall see what’s ahead.
You can catch the show on VH1. The season premiere was Dec. 5th at 9pm, but you know they will keep airing it and definitely before the new one next month.

K’La is a very talented lyricist and poet on Def Jam Records whose music totally rocks. She had a single on the airwaves last year entitled “All Your Love,” produced by Stephen Marley and a music video as well. She is very unique because she’s giving insight on love, life and setbacks from a female’s perspective. She’s not male bashing, but instead discusses topics we shouldn’t brush off our shoulders such as being blinded by love and also making sure you stay grounded when trying to reach success and goals. I love the album and feel she has a lot to bring to the table. This is a young lady that is going to blow up when she releases her debut album. Right now she has “The Coldest Winter Ever” mix tape and it’s awesome (and includes the above mentioned single)! I have been bumping this CD since I got it last year…the girl is way beyond her years…she’s like a Lauryn Hill, Badu and Eve rapped in one. I love this girl…..a true lyricist and poet!

Eloquii is a new store that offers plus sized clothing, sizes 14W-24W by Limited Brands. This is great and will offer the curvier female a chance to look great too with that same fresh, professional and chic style Limited has been known to offer its clients for years.

I am a fan of Marchesa. My fellow Ohioan Halle Berry wears the label quite often to red carpet events and works that carpet every time. Marchesa has some great looks for the upcoming Spring season, so those looking for dresses for weddings, proms, red carpet events, etc. get ready for what you are about to see…..the best is yet to come. Jumpsuits- Still a "Do" for the Fall

Jumpsuits are still nice for this season….I saw a pretty cute dressy one @ Sears by the Kardashians. Only tip I have for these is if you have too much junk or a flat butt it’s a no deal situation. Make sure you look neat in it, esp. the dressy ones because you want it to lie properly. Try it on in the store and have a REAL friend keep it real with you!!!!! I saw a girl in one and her gut was bigger than her butt, it just was all wrong… I was totally confused… Just be true to yourself and with your friends while shopping. No need to have the fashion police after you while you are out and about :)

She is set to release her “Harajuku Mini” clothing line for kids at Target stores this coming Fall. I am so excited because I have a son and love to dress him preppy and unique when I can and with boys it’s so hard because sometimes the fashions just aren’t there like they are for little girls. Well since Ms. Gwen has 2 little fashion forward boys herself, I know I will be able to get my son runway ready in no time. Her prices will range from $3.99 to $29.99…sounds good to me?

There’s not much to say about this woman other than ….SHE ROCKS! Marsha’s album titled “Late nights and early mornings,” is another R&B must have. Her voice is sultry and her lyrics and notes will give you goose bumps. This CD really made my day when I received it; it’s in heavy rotation and has yet to leave my car. It’s on my computer at work and it’s the best thing ever! If you loved Marsha Ambrosius when she was with Floetry, you will definitely love her now. She has re-invented her look (she looks awesome) and her album is now all her own, so you get a taste of whom she is as a solo artist.

2011 Academy Awards

Being a girly girl…there is never a better night for me to style watch than on Oscar Night. I absolutely love to see what the stars are going to wear to the Academy Awards every single year. This is the night when they come out and get glammed up (most of them) and they wear the most gorgeous jewelry imagined. I am a fan of dresses and accessories so I love to watch the pre-show and the awards themselves. I love my fashion magazines and have my favorites when it comes to celebs and their styles, but this night is unlike any other night in Hollywood. I’d just love to go there and be in the mix…….Oscars and Fashion Week is two places I’d love to just be a fly on the wall :)

I was excited that Anne Hathaway (one of my style fav’s) hosted this year. I am also a Robin Roberts fan, so I was excited she was behind the scenes at the Academy Awards too. Robin was gorgeous in her gown, I never knew she had a body like that…she also interviewed some winners this morning for Good Morning America via Hollywood. I was glad to see my fav’s on the Red Carpet looking stunning. Those were Halle Berry (always fierce), Jennifer Hudson (her transformation and new style is amazing), Gwyneth Paltrow (sleek and sexy), Cate Blanchett (looked like a piece of art), and Mila Kunis (one of my faves in the gorgeous slightly lacy lavender). There were many other stunners for the night, but these were some of the show stoppers….at least for me. I saw more hits than misses this year, so that definitely made my style watching even more fun!!!!

Kandi is back......with KandiKoated

Kandi’s “KandiKoated” CD has been on instant replay in my CD player (in the car and my computer at work). I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it being so used to her in Xscape ( I know I'm old school), but I have not sat it down since I’ve had it. I have to take my hat off to Kandi Burress for making such a great CD. Besides Fantasia’s CD this past year, I am really feeling it. Her voice is pretty good, but more than anything I am loving her beats and the lyrics……I can totally relate. Think Mary J. Blige’s “My Life” back in the late nineties…every woman could relate to something on that album. She talks about losing love, wanting love and being a mother wanting someone who can be a great father to her child like her step-father was to her. Moral of the story…she’s giving something real for the ladies jam to! If you haven’t heard it you should give it a listen.

These are a few of my hits from the 2011 Globe Awards. There was one miss in these pics though. I love the pretty green that brought color to the red carpet, with Angelina’s dress, but I felt like she could have worn something else or someone else could have worked that dress a lot better than she did. Angie has gotten to skinny for me……maybe not Hollywood, but for me…and this is my blog right? LOL

My fav was Olivia Wilde from House. I finally saw a pic with her shoes and wasn’t excited about how flashy they were since her dress made a statement alone, but still she’s my fav sans the shoes. Halle Berry looked gorgeous as usual. Her outfit was understated for the most part, but still said and did a lot for that wonderful body.

Everyone who knows me well knows I am PRO-GEMINI….meaning I love Gemini’s because I’m one  Nothing personal, you just get extra brownies for being a Gemini, even when I really don’t know you. All you gotta do is tell me your birthday…..

Anyway….let’s get to the point. Kanye is a Gemini and I not only love his music, but I totally adore great sense of style and how he speaks his mind. The boy of course gets extra backing from me because he’s a Gemini. Sometimes the man says and does too much and at the wrong time, but guess what….he is who is he is. He recently got his bottom rack (teeth) replaced with diamonds…again it’s quite crazy and I’d probably never do it, but who else would replace their teeth and make such a unique, yet classy fashion statement…LOL

What do you think about it? I think its nuts, but hey…it’s his mouth and money right? And he never fails to give us something to talk about. This type of move shows Ye’ knows how to stay relevant with or without an album or rant don’t you think? LOL

Materialist Men

I know we are living in a materialist world, but for years I always thought it was women who were into certain brands, fragrances and material objects when it came to their everyday lifestyles. After talking to my girlfriend I realized men are no different, whether it’s an expensive car they have to have for status or gratification or a certain piece of jewelry they wear in order to stand out in a crowd. My friend went on a date and the entire time the guy talked about his attire and the high end designer’s that were on his tags. He even cracked jokes on her Pontiac because he drives a Benz. During dinner he even went on to flash his watch in her face and asked her what she knew about it.

When she told this story to me, my mouth hit the floor. I asked her, how old is this guy? When she said he was 29 I was still shocked because I remember flaunting and flashing occurring a decade ago. It was really juvenile, but just made me realize guys are into material objects and not just their rides. Because I went to school for fashion, my friend said I would have known all these brands he was talking about, but I don’t even think I could have stomached this self-absorbed behavior. I don't mind a metrosexual man, but this is unreal !

I have been looking online for dress ideas for my twin aunt’s big birthday bash next month. In doing so I came across a dress that was just gorgeous on the Cache website. They always have adorable, trendy dresses at Cache, but this one just took the icing off the cake because its so couture and unique. Most people that know me understand that I have a strange sense of fashion, it’s always been unique items that stand out for me. This dress is so fly that accessories aren’t needed and if so, only a few will do. I know my aunt’s won’t wear this dress, but I still thought it was pretty enough to post. Maybe someone will grab it for a modest $800. I LOVE IT!!!

The movie "Takers" was very, very good I must say. It had a great cast of actors……. not to mention very sexy/attractive actors. I’ll even go on to say Ms. Zoe Saldana sexy too, but she’s not the main attraction for most lady viewers. The men were something else……. various shades, heights, and types of men and they were all handsome. I enjoyed seeing them all do their thing in this movie. It was full of action and excitement. The ending was pretty sad, but the guys in the movie were very tough and played their roles until the end. I’d definitely say it’s a great action packed movie for the guys and full of eye candy for the gals!!!!

Aaliyah and Left Eye (RIP)

RIP Aaliyah. I always do my tribute for Baby Girl, but I am a few days late. I did realize I missed the anniversary of her death and yesterday I came across a lot of great pictures of her. The one I'm attaching is of her and Left Eye (RIP 4-25-02). I loved both of these young ladies; they were creative, beautiful and youthful. It's sad they were taken from not only their families, but their fans so soon. I am sure they had more life in them, but it just goes to show life is too short and you have to live life to the fullest and do everything you possibly can to fulfill your dreams.

Tami Reed is a lady that I admire in the entertainment industry. She is from Cleveland, Ohio like myself and has worked her way up to having her own televisions shows (total of 3- Her heavy hitter "Talking with Tami") and has been in various magazines and can be seen at various events throughout Atlanta and other locations out of the states to meet with celebrities and important entertainment figures for interviews and more. She even goes to talk to children and battered women and motivates and encourages them to dream big. She currently resides in Atlanta with her family (like me), so she is one of those people who encourages me to excel and make my dreams come true. She’s very nice and easy to talk to and I’ve talked to her on the phone and email and look forward to meeting her in person someday soon. This lady has is going on and is still so very humble. She’s the prime example of reaching your dreams and never forgetting where you came from. I love that. I plan to be the same way when I get my fashion venture going.

Shout out to you Tami, you are a true inspiration!! Never give up on your dreams people and reach for the skies.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

I want to go to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in September in New York this year (yeah I know I’m talking about it early). I wish I was there in February. Everyone looked so great and the fashions were to die for. I know it’s only going to be more interesting and better this fall. With so much gong on this year it may not happen, but a girl can dream can’t she? I am praying to attend Fashion Week next year for sure though. I know it’s in the cards and dreams/passions do come true with hard work…..so I am chasing it.

RIP Alexander McQueen 1969-2010

I just want to say RIP to one of fashion’s reining Kings. Alexander McQueen was truly creative and brought some fierceness to the world of fashion. He was unlike any other and he made his runway shows a true art form whether it was birds or feathers on hats or in hair or if it was crazy shaped platforms. His colors always stood out and he never did anything that you’d see before him. He was a true trendsetter and made Fashion Week definitely interesting. He styled the ever so popular Lady Gaga on a regular basis and my favorite glam/rock chic Rihanna. He had a lot of celebs in his pieces, but as we know Gaga was never afraid to wear his most crazy designs. I love the black peep toe, back out stacks I posted. Those are truly gorgeous. He will truly be missed!

Couples Retreat

I’ve been a little late catching up with the latest movies, but I did rent “Couples Retreat” the other day. I must say it was nice watch. It wasn’t the funniest Vince Vaughn flick ever (I love him), but it did have its funny parts in it from time to time. I did enjoy the couples therapy and topics they tackled in the movie because most people in relationships (myself included) go through things from time to time and need clarity. I truly think it was a good movie for couples considering counseling or who think they have issues because sometimes it’s not really as bad as it seems when you look at how things could be. Cute movie.

When my one friend and her sis thought I resembled her a teeny bit, I was excited. Not because she’s pretty or classy, but because I grew up listening to her music and her struggle and now I am seeing her breakthrough (no pun intended). I think the lady is incredible and like myself she is always changing when it comes to hair and fashion, but only in subtle, classy ways. Never trashy, never following trends. When you grow up so does your fashion. I love it! It’s something to be said about anyone who holds their own and goes against the grain. That’s what true fashion is. Here are a few pics from the taping of the 2009 Soul Train Awards down in Atlanta, Georgia at the Georgia World Congress center on November 3rd. It will air on November 29th on BET. Looks like all went well and it was a good time. Ray J was pretty sharp and Taraji had quite a few wardrobe changes. Monica and her man looked pretty happy as well as Ginuine and Sole. Love is beautiful and it’s always nice to see black people in the building getting along and having fun. Wish I would have made it happen and got there, but nevertheless, can’t wait to see the show.

She attended and spoke at the amfAR event held there. amfAR is The Foundation for AIDS Research. You can see her in a shot with designer Donatella Versace (sister of the late, great Gianni). It’s great to see people getting out for a great cause. Model Linda Evangelista, actress Rachel Bilson as well as Dita Von Teese were all in attendance to support the great cause. There were many other philanthropists, celebrities and locals at the event as well.

I was happy to see my girl Eve out there getting her shine on as well as DMX. I hope he’s doing better and gets an album out there soon. I was a Ruff Ryder’s fan and still bump their music. I love seeing a variety of star power in the room. I hear Ja Rule, Grandmaster Flash, Eminem and some others were there, so once I get the pics I will post more.

She said she has always been the sister who had fire between her and her sister, but she did learn a lesson of patience. In my opinion, everyone makes mistakes and gets frustrated. Now it’s time for them to move past it as her sister Venus stated. Serena has a book called “On the Line,” that will be talking about the game and ups and downs of being out there. And off the subject I love Serena's shirt and hair. She looked very pretty and humble.

This has been a week of apologies and with that in mind, now if the rude man who had the outburst on Obama would apologize maybe that would put an end to the week of outbursts and mistakes. Do you guys think that will happen?

She’s such a classy lady. She (like a few others) knows how to work the runway and make you look good at the same time. Carolina always has something interesting and unique on the runway, but never ridiculous. I totally wish I was at the Carolina Herrera show. She’s awesome! The colors were beautiful and this would have been one to attend.

Ok, so most of you have watched the awards show last night. This topic is what do you think about Kanye jumping on stage and taking over when Taylor Swift had just won an award? Do you think it was necessary to say Beyonce had the best video, blah, blah, blah? Did anyone ever say “Single Ladies,” was a wack video? No! And who knows Taylor probably did her fair share of dancing to the video like we all did this past year, but does that mean she doesn’t want her award? WTF! What made him get up there and make a fool of himself? I love me some Kanye no doubt because he’s wild and I Iove wild, but I think it’s just gotten out of hand even for moi. Before he was expressing his frustrations about him not winning awards, now he’s going crazy about other people’s videos and songs? Come on now? At the end of the day Beyonce and Jay Z will be sitting on darn near half a billion dollars whether they ever win another award or not. Ye needs to think about that before he messes up what he’s been trying to build.

Taylor Swift just wanted to go accept her award. Now instead of the whole act being about Kanye doing a bad deed, the topic turned into why Taylor didn’t thank Beyonce when she allowed Taylor some of her time to get out there and finish her acceptance speech. Taylor hugged Beyonce when she came back out. I thought that was nice gesture and enough. The radio stations down here in the ATL brought up the topic and some people have now made it about Beyonce and Taylor when in reality yes Beyonce was a lady and allowed Taylor to come back out because the whole situation was not right and B did the right thing. Most other people would not have done that. Yes Taylor hugged Beyonce, but did she owe her anything else? I don’t think so and I don’t think Beyonce cared either. I feel the only one that needs to bow down or make an apology is Kanye and he needs to make it not only to his fans and viewers, but most importantly to Beyonce and Taylor. Why are people even making it about B and Taylor when its’ about Ye!?! I have seen several pics of Kanye and his boo Amber drinking liquor so I guess he can “Blame it on the Alcohol.”

Here are some fashion red carpet pics from last night’s MTV Video Music Awards. I actually enjoyed Beyonce’s outfit (surprise), Alicia Keys' outfit (on red carpet and stage), Adrienne Bailon’s dress (w/o the boots…perhaps nude pumps or pink strappy’s would have done) and Cassie’s dress in a unique way.

Another young lady that had a nice outfit on to me was Karli Henriquez. I never really heard of her before, but what she wore was something I probably would have worn on a night out on the town. It was simple, but twisted, meaning it was classic pieces such as a blazer and slacks, but the shoes were crazy and so was the tank underneath and the overall mix of fabrics. Anyone who knows me knows I love to play with various fabrics, deigns and accessories. I’ll have something simple on and throw a crazy scarf, hat, pin or jacket on to shake it up a bit.

Overall, on the red carpet there weren’t many outfits I despised which is a good thing. I didn’t care for Whitney’s dress (from the Hills) and I didn’t go crazy over Pink’s dress for her body type, but what was cute about it was that Pink and Shakira had the same dress on that night….yes twins….but Shakira worked it for her body type a little better. Don’t get me wrong Pink is toned and in shape, but she looks better in low rise jeans and cropped tops that show her cuts and dentition. This leather ensemble didn’t enhance anything for her and a part of fashion is knowing what works for your body and making your special features stand out. You always want to walk down the red carpet and have your outfit scream…. “Here I am!”

Are you a twin? Then where's the individuality?

After viewing some of the party websites down here in ATL as well as just being out and about and witnessing life down here I’ve come to a realization. Fashion is not about individuality anymore. When I say fashion I mean hair, clothes, makeup, accessories, etc. Fashion is a plethora of things, not just being in tune with the current trends. It’s about representing who you are, your personality and way of thinking as well as lifestyle. In saying that, I mean live within your means, shop for deals, but know when quality is more important than quantity and create something that makes you stand alone.

Basically I’ve seen it all from women wearing the same cut as Cassie and now rocking the stars in their hair like Keyshia Cole. Again it’s a creative way to express yourselves, but aren’t there other shapes and designs out there to get? I know we love emulating our favorite stars or who we think we closely resemble, and that's great. Heck, I'm guilty of it, but switch it up a bit.

I hate seeing “friends” rocking the same items or having the same clothes, especially when they are out and about together. Again if you are friends with someone isn’t it against the code of fashion to have the same items? Maybe it’s just me though. There are enough clothes, shoes, accessories in this HUGE city (and online) to go around where you at least don’t have to look like your friend, let alone random strangers. I know what you are thinking and you are right! Of course you are going to have the same clothes as some people and some items will be exact because clothes are sold everywhere and we can all shop there, but all I am saying is if you get a shirt from here, skirt from there, accessories from another spot, it’s less likely you’ll be looking the young lady behind you in the club line vs. if you go to one store and pick up the whole fit (from head to toe). Again it’s just me venting and taking it there, but I think people don’t understand what fashion is truly about. I am not saying I am Kimora Lee Simmons, but I am darn sure close. I may not have the fashion Empire and money, but I have the education and experience in this industry and we gotta take fashion back to where it used to be.

Let’s get it together. This is not only in ATL but everywhere, but since I am here and out attending and participating in fashion events, I see it often.

P.S. I will be styling an upcoming group very soon (to be announced) and they have a unique sense of style. Not one of these girls dress alike, nor are their personalities alike. I can’t wait for this opportunity!

This young lady was definitely more than a woman. Aaliyah had the soft voice, but hard dance moves that kept you intrigued. She started off as a tomboy with the bagging pants yet worse the belly tops and bra tops which softened the look up. She had the face, hair and physique that kept your eyes on her every move. She was everything wrapped up in one and she was one of my favorites.

I remember my best friend and I would faithfully bump One in a Million in her car and at her house when we had overnight gatherings. I remember on my 19th birthday another friend got me an Aaliyah skirt (as I called it) with the one high split on the side. She wore it in her “Are you that Somebody,” video. Aaliyah was the truth. She even got involved in acting during the last few years of her life. She was truly a triple threat before we got to know who Ms. Alicia Keys was or follow Beyonce as she went on to a solo career. She was to be the next Janet Jackson before Ciara rocked the crowds. Not to rain on their parade because all of them are talented and bring us some of Aaliyah and keep her alive, but at the same time they can’t deny they learned something from her as well.

Baby Girl has been gone for 8 years now and it’s crazy. I can remember being at my other BFF’s apartment for her graduation the weekend after Aaliyah passed and all I could do was look online and hope it wasn’t true. I was in denial and only a fan. I can’t imagine what her family had to endure. She was really about to become a force to be reckoned with, but as many of our talented stars she left this earth way too soon, but we all know she’s in a better place. She will continue to live on.

Smoochies Boutique

Let’s talk about plus sized boutique “Smoochies.” My girl and fashion magazine Chief Nicole told me about this boutique. From the first time I went in there last year up until this weekend, I’ve been impressed. They have pretty clothing and it’s unique. Not what you see in the regular mall clothing stores, hence the fact that’s in a boutique. I love the concept because you see most boutiques for the small or thin woman, but this place has sizes 12 and up. Although I am on the smaller side of the store as far as size, they go up the high 20’s and I even saw some 3X jeans and dresses. The clothes have great colors, cuts and this boutique has the biggest and best purses. I am always in heaven when I go in there. I can just go to window shop (at least that’s the plan) and end up leaving with at least 2 or more items. I guess fashion truly is my passion. I want to thank the ladies for always showing me a good time, assisting me and helping me find what looks good on me when I am being lazy. All I can say is I never break my wallet. It’s not more than you’d pay in Lane Bryant, Ashley Stewart or department stores and they have sales quite a bit. The prices are right in this store, especially for curvy women who want to stand out and make a statement.

The dress I wore for my 30th birthday came from Smoochies and it was worth every penny. I must say I had it going on that night..wouldn't you ?

Red Pearls...Classy Dolls (Fashion Show)

It’s been a few weeks, but I haven’t gone anywhere, just been a little busy, but I’m back. I want to share with you some pictures from a very elegant fashion show I attended on July 19th at the Highland Inn Ballroom, in Atlanta. The show was hosted and organized by Ms. Liz Johnson. She’s really great at what she does. She’s a former Barbizon student and a modeling coach. She does fashion shows in the summer only and she really did a great job. I look forward to collaborating with her. She’s about business and I like to see that in this industry! You can see her kodak sketch and pic at the very bottom giving us the deuces (peace sign) !

The theme of the show was Red Pearls….Classy Dolls. I enjoyed because it wasn’t overly crowded, the mood and music was nice and the appetizers were as well. It was very classy as the theme stated. Made you feel like you were at Fashion Week. Marketing was done by another young lady who is good at what she does (Ms. Christina Battle). For those that may want to model or need some marketing assistance you should contact these ladies.

Moving along, the colors were very nice. A lot of reds, citruses and the cuts of the designs were great. A few had the sides out, plunging necklines (right up my alley), large geometric shaped collars and just overall unique quality and elegance. This is just a little something nice I found online. It’s one of Derek Blanks photography projects (he photogs many celebs, esp. in ATL). Its Teairra Mari dressed as Michael Jackson and his date from the Thriller video/movie.

I think it’s amazing.

Teairra really portrays both of these characters well and looks great doing it. I know singing is her focus, but if that doesn’t work out, I am really thinking modeling or acting will do her just fine.

Some people have their own opinions of The Dream and Christina Milian separately and as a unit. I actually think they are a cute couple and can’t wait to see if they will actually marry, have kids and all that good stuff.

The Dream was previously married to Nivea (Lil’ Wayne’s other future BM) and Christina was linked to Dre (music producer) and Nick Cannon. They have both had their share of the limelight already in the entertainment world, so they may be able to handle it even better this go round.

She had been out of the limelight and I understood why, but she came out for some holiday bbq and fun times.

It’s been awhile my fashion forward and entertainment junkies, but I’ve been busy and lots have gone us since we last chatted……

Michael Jackson…THE KING OF POP passed on. It’s very sad because he was my first crush and many of my friends first crushes as kids and we’ve grown up to his music and so have our parents. It sad, but he has done so much for music for the last 40 years that he’ll never die!!!!!!

I can remember being afraid of the THRILLER video, yet watching it every chance I could get as a pre-schooler/kindergartener. It was one of those things where if you loved him and thought he was a cutie you watched it anyway, despite him turning into a monster. I actually cried the first time I saw it because I loved him so much and didn’t want cute Mike to be a monster….my mom explained it to me though and I realized it was not real :)

I’ve been pretty busy these days, but it’s for a good cause. I am working on my portfolio and have come up with the craziest, but smartest idea.

I have decided to do some virtual styling.

What is it? Well, it’s where I send style options to friends from out of my location (out of state) via email and when they are ready to shop they can pick from these items. They will then take photos that will go into my portfolio that I am creating and building.
It will be a win-win for those who need some style tips for spring as well as for my personal growth in fashion.

See it’s not all about self, it’s about team work. I have contacted a few people and so far the responses are great. I am only working on a few now and then if it goes well, I’ll extend the idea. If someone is interested, however let me know.

Solange and her sick shoe game !

I know I just did a spring issue that had the pashmina’s, lots of cute shoes and even an example of how to wear your clothes (thanks to Google and Jay Z), but I had to go deeper in the name of shoes.

My favorite shoe girl right now is Solange. I say this because as my friends know, when I used to go out a lot I would wear a bad a** shoe and a simple or even crazier outfit to match. Shoes make a statement, especially heels or sandals. I can remember wearing a funky handbag and shoe and putting on a simple dress or pair of jeans and a top. You can do that with the right shoe.

This is my tribute to Solange. I would love to raid her shoe closet and go shopping. If you are out there Solange, holla at your girl (smile).

Much love and success to her also. Beyonce I gotta say your lil sis got you on the crazy fashion and shoes (I still love your handbags though). I think it would be Christmas if I could raid their shoe and purse stash. I’d be # 1 in the accessory game……ok, enough dreaming…Enjoy!

Spring is in the air.................

It’s about to be spring time again and of course we have to talk about a few trends that will be hot for the months to come.

Trends I am feeling are scarves, but not your usual scarves you can get from target or Wal-Mart. I am talking pashmina’s you can get from boutiques that are unique, colorful and can bring a hint of flavor to your everyday or going out attire.

I know everyone has the quilted handbags (I haven’t got one yet). Those are cute also, but please make sure you have a simple outfit on with it so you don’t look like you are crazy and color blind. Mixing too many patterns and colors may be a little unnecessary with some of those bags.

Sweater dresses (lighter for the spring) are also hot; boots with the toes out and sandals made like strappy boots are also hot. Of course anything strappy that eludes grisliness and sexiness is in! A fly shoe can make a white short or long sleeve button down and black skirt or blue jean stand out. Gladiators are still in this year too. Bakers has some really cute sandals and boot shoes. The last time I checked (last week), they had a pretty good sale.

For men, I am all about keeping it simple, clean and crisp. I don’t want to see men with pants sagging, but they also don’t have to be itty bitty if you know what I am saying. Just make sure they are your size, with some room to breathe and move. I don’t want to see any boxers or butt cracks…that’s for my ladies too. It’s time to wear belts unless you got that much junk to hold your jeans up! Men can look good with simple slacks, polo’s or button downs and oxfords or some fresh kicks a nice tee and some nice fitting jeans. As Beyonce and a friend of mine says they like their men to wear their pants… “Grown man low….”

Now………there are other trends out now, but those are just a few that you can add to what you have and still keep some money in the bank.

I have to do an ode to Plies not only for his lady-friendly lyrics, but for my sister Robin who loves this man.

Plies is Florida born and raised and is a member of Slip N Slide records. He’s been active since about 2005 and you have heard him on some older joints such as Trina (if you are a fan) and current songs and remixes as well. He is a hot commodity with something hood to offer the men and some seductive lyrics for my ladies…lol

To date he has 3 albums (The Real Testament, Definition of Real and The Realist). My favorite is Definition of Real, he has a lot of great songs on it and I am sure you all remember Bust it Baby pt. 2 feat. Ne-Yo? That’s on there. My fav song is actually Ol’ Lady. Any who…Plies is pretty hot, but if you don’t like strong and suggestive lyrics you may want to look elsewhere. If you are open for new things and have pretty good self esteem you can hang. This man is the truth. He packs a lot of pIf you click unch in his little ripped body…

As a Kanye West fan and fellow Gemini I must say this man is something else. His new CD is far from Graduation and any other CD’s he’s released, but its still has some crazy beats and creative lyrics. It’s just slow, has the synthesizer in some cuts and a techno feel, but nevertheless it’s catchy and true fans will still love it. I love Kanye because he doesn’t care what others think and he’s not afraid to step outside of the box like with his new 808’s and Heartbreak…..but guess what? He still sold mad records his first week so I guess the saying goes…. “Can’t stop, won’t stop.”

Kanye has had a lot of losses beginning with the loss of his mom last year and then his longtime (on/off) girlfriend Alexis. I am sure he will heal in time and find love, but no one can replace mom or parents for that matter. I wish him strength, peace and love. If he really needs a date I’d be honored to chat over drinks (sorry Luda)…LOL

Ludacris - Theater of the Mind

Ok…..It’s music time.

For those that don’t know I am in love with Ludacris. I know he is not thinking about me, but it’s ok. Maybe one day. I’ve loved him before he was a millionaire and will continue to love him. He’s come a long way and struggled to get where he’s at by working hard. He was not a drug dealer or gangster (not knocking them, because I know and love many),but he was a hustler in terms of selling his CD’s from his car and making connects while working as Chris Lova Lova on the radio. I admire him. Yes he’s fine, silly, has awesome lyrics and his acting and sense of style is even the bomb…but I still admire where he’s come from first and foremost.

His new CD Theater of the Mind is great. I know some would say I am biased, well I am and no matter what CD he has I find many songs I love, but this album is one of his best and I am being honest. His favorite CD of mine is still Word of Mouf, but this I would have to say is second…then Release Therapy and so on and so forth…any who, check it out if you haven’t. The man is talented and has many heavy hitters on his CD…

What a beautiful black family? Don’t they make you dream the dream again? I know for years I’ve always wanted a beautiful wedding and dress and pretty much the show, but not necessarily the husband, life, struggle and trying times that marriages may bring, but I truly feel like the first family makes me see marriage differently. This isn't to say I’ll be married in the next year or two, but it just makes me think on a new level. I still want the pretty dress and show, but I really believe a family can be solid, pull together and make big things happens…..such as HISTORY!!!!!

Last week, I advance voted and it felt great to see Obama’s name on the ballot. I felt a little emotional, yet very proud. I never thought I’d see the day.

Celebrity Style Suite Hosted by Renaldo Nehemiah and Billy Bad Axx

Attached are some pictures from the Style Suite I attended for the BET Hip Hop Awards weekend. It was last night at Justin’s restaurant in Atlanta. Basically the purpose of the suite was for stylists and designers to meet with celebrities and allow them to view clothing on display from their lines and stores. The celebrities and their entourages were allowed to pick clothing to take home as well as take pictures in the suite in their chosen selections. It was really fun seeing them try on outfits, even watching the models flossing in the high end fashions for fun. It was definitely a great networking event. I met stylist Renaldo who works with DTP, Musiq SoulChild and others. I also met Chingy, Shawty-Lo and some very bright executives from B.E.T. Those women really let me know that anything is possible and it’s great to be black!!!!

Republican VP Candidate Palin

I know I am for Obama and many know this based on my blog, attire (Obama for Pres. shirts) and comments, but I want to take some time out for my Republican voters and those that want to shed light or an opinion on the VP Candidate Sarah Palin.

I don’t know much about her because I am not heavily into politics, but I must say that Sarah is a pretty lady and she seems to be popular for work she’s done in Alaska. I have only seen pics of her (some that may have been photo shopped, or not) and heard gossip regarding her attire, antics and familial life so I don't go by that.

Does anyone know more about her or have anything to say about her magazine cover and what is says? Is she just a pretty face or more?

I feel as voter’s we need to know as much as we can about all parties…honestly.

ATL Urban Fashion Week Oct 1-4 2008

If you are looking for a good time, some good clothing and a good fashion show, look no further. The ATL Urban Fashion Week (hosted by Billy Bad Azz) will be October 1- October 4, 2008. There are plenty of parties and two fashion shows. It'll be worth your while to drop by; especially those that want something different to do in the city. Calling all Fashionistas and Men of Fashion!!!!

Tickets are only $10 and give you the option to choose one fashion show to attend as well as the kickoff party. I have a few tickets left if you are interested.

For those of you that are friends, family or fans of mine on MySpace (www.myspace.com/nfashun), you know I did a profile update and spoke of the rest of 2008 and 2009 being mine and all about me. Well, the reason is simply this. Many of my dreams and wishes are coming true.

Next month is the pre-launch party for PHENOMENAL STYLE MAGAZINE. It’s going to be at Wolf Gang Puck’s in Buckhead down here in Georgia and it’s a blessing. For so long I’ve done things that I’ve been proud of such as styling for Misa and connecting with a wide array of people in the music and entertainment industry, but things didn’t always pan out. For awhile, I was sad because things didn’t happen when I wanted them to, but I had to realize it wasn’t on my time. I laid back and took other routes, went back and got my Master’s, but I never stopped dreaming. All of these other routes I took got me the education and background I needed to be even more valuable when the time was right.

I guess I am here to say no matter what comes in your path, press on. Keep dream chasing and believing. When you stop hoping and dreaming is when life becomes bored and there is nothing to live for. You are never too old to dream. When it rains it pours on both the good and bad side. Sometimes you are hit with nothing but bad news, turndowns and drama, but on the other hand when the blessings start to pour, there is no stopping them. Right now I know all of my dreams of becoming a fashion styling and getting my name out there in LA, NY and Chicago and most definitely back home in Ohio and here in GA are possible. I have to thank my family and close friends (young and old) for that and always encouraging me to take risk, relocate and know they have my back!

I have to thank God first and foremost for making things happen on his time; Misa at Chyna Doll Enterprises and Nicole (founder of Phenomenal Style) and Lynn (the art director) for letting me do my thing and giving me a chance. Sometimes that is all you need.

“The Family That Preys” (TYLER PERRY)

If you haven’t seen this movie, please go. I was so touched by this movie, it was unreal. Sanaa and Taraji did their thing. I was shocked at Sanaa’s role. She was far from the girl next door role you see her play, but it shows she is a force to be wrecked with. You won’t believe it. Taraji played a different role than usual and Rockmond did a great job also. This whole cast was unique and unexpected and I loved how it played out. Cole Hauser (Bates son) was fine !!! I especially loved Alfre Woodard and Kathy Bates relationship/role. I cried like a baby for the last twenty minutes. I even screamed and yelled from time to time thought the whole film. It was excellent and Tyler has once again done his thing. I was not sure it could get better than Madea’s Family Reunion, then Why Did I Get Married came and I didn’t think it could get better, but it just did.

Tyler Perry you truly did your thing. You always give us a chance and that’s a blessing. This cast was very interesting, but as always you make it work and do things for a reason!

Eye and Ear Candy........

Not sure if it’s just me or not, but I love both of these guys. They both wear their clothing unique and fitted and it’s just a refreshing look to see. I love to see a guy who isn’t afraid to be different or isn’t afraid to venture out on the wild side. That is nothing other than sexy to me. I’ve always been a fan of both John Legend and Andre 3000, but that 3 stacks (Andre) just does something to me and always has. I think it’s his mole, his body, his style of flow, his body, his and his style of dress…not to mention he’s also a Gemini like myself…yummy!!!! To be honest with Andre it’s everything!!!!

Whew.....

Moving along, these two have a song out now (John Legend feat. Andre 3000) called “Green Light,” and it’s very catchy. It gets John away from the piano and he parties. Dre is always on his feet, getting the crowd excited. Below are a few pics from their visit to TRL to announce their new video. I look forward to John’s CD, just goes to show he is still doing his thing and even differently!

I know my blog is mainly about fashion, but it’s also about major events in my life or those that intrigue me and one of them is the first black man running for presidency of the United States…..BARACK OBAMA. And in all actuality his wife is always elegant so I must say she does have some fashion sense to bring to this blog. She’s going to make a wonderful First Lady !!!

I am not into politics or no major political person that will argue and debate, but I must say I am very excited to witness a black person running for president. Last night he accepted nomination and gave a great detailed speech about his plans for change and exactly what he was going to do for our country. This just goes to show that our ancestor’s hard work and diligence has not gone unrecognized. I am very happy and it’s great that my son who will be 2 in November will have something to look back on and be proud of. I am sure Obama will win this, but regardless, this gives young blacks (especially men) and minorities hope. To be honest it gives all races and religious backgrounds hope because it shows us that anything is possible! Don’t lose sight of your dreams. I am so excited and ready for a CHANGE!!!!

Well, I love them and own some, so you know I will!

Just thought Id do a quick shout out to the person who brought the gladiator style back out and with more variation than before.

So many designers have added their twist to this sandal whether it is texture (leather, jellies, snakeskin, patent, etc.) or whether they are short, tall or with jewels. Either way it goes they are lightweight, comfy, trendy and easy on the eye. A lot of people think they are old school or not that cute, but to me they are adorable. I am a retro fanatic though. If you like them you should cop a pair, if not, just hate and watch me rock mine (smile). I have a pair of multi-colored from Nine West for $59.99 and a dark brown pair from Old Navy for $19.50. Prices range from about $10-$100+ depending on the brand, but mainly up to about $100 is what I’ve been seeing at Macy’s, and with brands like Nine West, Calvin Klein and others.

"Sex and the City"

I am not sure if you are all into “Sex and the City,” but guess what? I am, so I must do a brief overview of the film. The movie was great. The fashion was remarkable as usual, but we are going to talk about LOVE. It was emotional and it made you feel as if the show never left HBO. The ladies have grown up, went their separate ways, had families, obstacles in their relationships and most of all they realize sometimes you have to forgive and love! Samantha was still with her young beau, but realized she wasn’t loving herself like she should be. She gave up everything for him. It was a change for the wild natured sex queen we saw on the series, but at the end of the day it wasn’t her stylo. Charlotte not only had her adopted daughter to fulfill her dreams of motherhood, but she was blessed with a surprise pregnancy and daughter # 2. Miranda had to deal with forgiveness and realize that she loved Steve despite his slight mishap and one time (so he says…lol) cheating experience. By the end of the movie she was fulfilling his every desire, which she wasn’t doing because she was so busy being a full time employee and mom. Lastly, Carrie……..Big….the wedding. It was a big mix-up and circus at first and the list went from 50-200, but when it was all said in done they had a simple courthouse wedding making for a happy ending. The reception took place at the ladies regular breakfast/lunch diner. And Jennifer Hudson did her thing. She had a much larger role than I was expecting and she got a chance to fall in love in the movie too. It was all about LOVE!!!

When it comes to women we love hair styles that pop. Men even like to see us with creative styles that make a statement. We like to stand out and want to be noticed, yet still show our soft side. One person that has a creative style when it comes to hair is Keyshia Cole. I chose her because she’s rocked various shades, lengths and styles since she’s been out on the scene and she’s just getting started. Her sense of creativity shows in her hair as well as attire, but with hair that stands out likes hers who needs accessories or outfits that do too much? Her hair speaks for itself. I loved her blonde, but this black is growing on me, Keyshia is definitely doing her thing musically and in the world of hair and fashion.

Spring is here and there are so many pretty colors making their way into the fashion scene. For those that don’t know me well, I am a huge lover of accessories such as jewelry, shoes and handbags. If you ask me, having a good pair of shoes and a bag can go a long way and make laid back clothes stand out.

Picture this, a nice fitted white or black tank or tee, your fav jeans and some pretty sandals, a handbag and some fly jewelry? Trust me, it can be done. I have been on the Bloomingdale’s site daily and color is still in and colors that stand out are greens, yellows and fuchsia shades. For sandals the jellies are coming back full force, but with more durability and style. I remember rocking those when I was in elementary! How about you? Flats, loafers, pumps, sling backs are of course still in, but make sure you have some with color, not just black.

It’s also a magazine that will give some curvy women the boost they need to hold their heads up and be proud of who they are!

So far things are going good in the South. The weather is nice and so are most of the people thus far. I miss my family and friends in Ohio, but I know they’ll be visiting this summer. I am lucky to have family on both sides down in ATL as well as close friends from childhood. I can’t wait to have pool parties, barbecues and all that fun stuff.

Work is going good. I am learning a brand new realm of financials so it’s pretty cool. Change is good and learning is always necessary.

Now for the EXCITING PART…..I am also going to be doing fashion articles and marketing for an upcoming fashion magazine down here, so I hope that works out as well and affords me a chance to meet all those everyday people and celebs here that are into fashion. That is my zone!! The first issue drops in June so if you want a copy or info on it let me know and I’ll keep you updated. I can’t release the name or major details, but believe me it’s going to be great.

I also have some chatting to do with a fellow Clevelander down here who’s creating his own line. Small world isn’t it? He’s a high school buddy of my boyfriend so it’s like family.

I am also scheduled to meet with a young man I knew from college who is on the scene and in the know. He feels he can get me in touch with some styling connects.

They always say in due time and I think it’s finally my time!

Hold on to your dreams because things will happen if they are meant to be and when HE's ready for you to move on! Don't let anyone deter you.

Change is coming

I am getting ready for a move to Atlanta. I have a few job opportunities when I get there and there are even more opportunities I don’t know about that await me. I am very excited. Change can be sad, it can be hard, but it’s also good. As my Aunt Donna always said, “You gotta let go to grow.” I look forward to the new and unknown and also getting my fashion portfolio updated and ready for the big world of fashion. I hope to meet and work with artists like Ludacris, Ciara, Monica, JD, other newcomers and old timers in the music and entertainment world there. I’d also love to meet Bow Wow’s mom Theresa, who has her own boutique. I am trying to build my resume and learn from those willing to lend a hand. ATL here I come!!!

One of my favorite dressed celebrities these days is Rihanna. The girl is young, fresh and fly. Her look is always clean and lady-like, yet she has the best legs ever and fits everything she wears to a tee. I love her style and her confidence. It’s nice to see young women out here representing the wonderful world of fashion. When I grow up I want to be Rihanna and have her sense of style. The girl is fierce. I have a lot of fashion favorites, but this one never seems to disappoint me and I am no push-over when it comes to being the fashion police or as my co-workers calls me “mamarazzi.”

A month into the New Year already…..

Has anyone been going strong with their New Year’s Resolutions or have we fallen off already? Better yet did you even decide to have a resolution this year?

I am currently going strong; I started back with my heavy workout regime Jan 5th and have been doing well. I have been losing weight slow, but I am happy. It’s harder the second time around that’s for sure, but I’ve been running and staying active, so hopefully this spring I’ll be back into my pre-pregnancy clothes and strutting myself. I went down about 4 pants sizes going to the same place back in 05’ so I am on a mission.

I am also working on relocating as well so I can further my career. ATL is an option and any other leads will also be accepted. We’ll see how it goes……

It’s pretty interesting. It showcases photos from major Cleveland events, regular outings and even interviews with local residents and celebrities from the area who’ve made it big. You can also chat with others on the site or comment about topics discussed. It’s pretty cool. I enjoy checking it out at least once a week to see what’s new. Because I love fashion it’s nice to see what their thoughts are and what’s hot to them and compare it to some of my ideas about fashion. The site is definitely worth checking out. I am happy Cleveland is opening up and becoming interactive. It’s also great for networking which is one of the keys to success! Lily Allen is a force to be reckoned with. She is an English singer and has a mainstream single out right now called “Smile.” She also has done some work in the past that has blown up in the UK. For those of you that still don’t know who she is, Lily was also featured on Common’s latest CD Finding Forever on the single, “Drivin’ Me Wild.” She not only has a very pretty voice and accent, but she has a wonderful sense of fashion. I love the way she pieces things together. Her outerwear game is really on point. I am a jacket and coat type of gal myself. I really like this girl. I am sure she’ll be blowing up soon in the U.S. She did just have a recent loss (she had a miscarriage) and I wish her well and my prayers are with not only her, but her boyfriend and family.

Since I am always giving a shout out to my peeps in fashion, I must give a special hello to a new friend of mine who carries himself like no other man in the Cleveland area. His name is Tino aka The Future of Fashion. He truly is the future because he wears what he wants and does not follow the regular fads and trends that many people rock. He has a style that’s all his own. He may wear a tie and a member’s only jacket with fitted jeans or he may throw a three piece suit on and floss. No matter what he’s rocking he rocks it well and carries himself like a gentleman. Hate if you want, but this man is on his way to the top. I plan to do some business with him. It’s not everyday you find men in your neighborhood with such a swag that you wonder if they are really even from Cleveland…better yet why they aren’t in New York City or Los Angeles. I guess folks wonder the same about me. Maybe we should consider him another future stylist. I know I am the business, but this man has it too!!! MUAH Tino!!!!

Aja Imani Clothing Company

Another unique line doing it big for the 08’ is the Aja Imani Clothing Company. This line is creative because it not only caters to old school hip hop and the 80's in my opinion, but it caters to customers needs. If you want to do a tribute to your favorite artist, designer or whoever, the designer will do it up for you. I personally love Ludacris so I am going to get a hot shirt with Luda on it. They have Gerald Levert (RIP), Bob Marley, Hendrix and more. The line is almost an ode to hip hop and music. I love it because not only is fashion my life, but so is music. It all ties together. Even rapper Juelz Santana rocks Aja Imani frocks! Please check out the site, the clothes are amazing. To be honest Aja Imani and Monte Montez could really join forces on another line and really blow things up. I must give a shout out to Montez. He’s a designer who has an awesome line of clothing. His line is creative, fashionable and it speaks for itself. Some would say it’s similar to the skater and biker looks with the tees and hoodies, but it also has its own overall unique edge that you can add your very own twist to. It also has an urban edge, without looking like what’s already out here. I personally love the idea that you can get a pair of customized undies to go with the baby tees. Talk about a deal and something no one else will have! I am all about the deals. Even hot celebs are paying attention to his style. Kids can even rock his apparel! You’ve gotta check his clothes out. This man is creative and has an eye for art and fashion and something for everyone!

My Girl Mary J. Blige !

I am a # 1 Mary J. Blige. Have always been and probably always will be. I have been told we resemble. I can only wish! You would think she was my sister if you know me …lol

At any rate she’s the truth and I love her. She’s been trough it all and now she’s happy and it’s great. She can also dress her tail off. Her new sense of style is mature yet still sexy and once I shed a few, I plan to mimic a few outfits I've seen (especially that bad pleated military dress she rocked for her New Year’s performance…as well as her outfits in her CD layout)!

I found this video a young lady made on You Tube. It’s her new song, but the video shows excerpts from a lot of her past videos and performances. It’s hot. All true fans will enjoy.

By the way, her new CD is awesome and I am not being biased.

2008 has arrived !

What is your resolution for 2008? Do you have one or have you even thought about it?

This year my resolution is to the focus on my spirituality, weight, career and finances. I am working on myself and my spirituality and know I need a better relationship with God for myself, my family and especially my son. I am trying to lose weight and I start back with my personal trainer on the 5th of this month. I also plan to figure out where my career is going to take me as far as location and job. I want to get back into fashion, so I am hoping to launch a clothing line with my partner soon as well as decide what city is meant for me and what will work for my family. I am also going to continue to save and invest this year as I started last year. A career shift will also add to those fruits. That’s my plans in a nutshell. I know I will succeed in making them all a reality.

What about you? Let me know I want to see if there are similarities and if we can all come up with ideas to help one another. Sometimes two or more heads are better than one. Staying positive, believing in God and staying away from negative forces will also help us get to our goals even faster.

Plans for the New Year

Fashion and dressing nice is not about how you look in terms of size, but how you feel. Right now I am not feeling too great about my size and how clothes are fitting and looking on me. With that in mind it’s time to get back to my personal trainer and workout. I had a baby a year ago and I have been working out then slacking, it’s now time to get right so for the New Year I am back on my A-Game, so I can look hot for the spring again. I also plan to work on a line and fashion show so I gotta look hot! No more baby excuses or over indulging (well after the holidays). Wish me well friends, it won’t be easy. It never is, but once I start it’s hard to stop. I am on it. If you are working on a goal and need motivation tell me what it is. We are in this together. Keep you posted!

PRIORITIES

I was on a site I check out frequently (www.eighty81.com) and it caught my eye when a guy did an interview on women/dating in their "Rules of Attraction," section and discussed how some women in Cleveland (where I am from) and other cities spend their money on expensive handbags, yet don’t have any money in them.

From experience I know many that will go out expecting guys or friends to buy them drinks and entertain because they’ve spent their money trying to be fly or stand out. It’s unreal what folks do these days. I guess magazines, TV and Hollywood could partially be to blame, but so could our personal backgrounds and upbringings. Can we say PRIORITIES?

I love fashion, but I must say it’s not that serious to have the hottest $600 bag when you don’t have that kind of money in the bank….at least…I guess it’s just a matter of opinion. Don’t get it twisted, I hope to have a nice LV for Christmas, but I bet you one thing I’ll have money in it and in the bank. And the truth is you have to treat yourself to SOME things, but live within, not above your means.

Tell me your thoughts in my comments section. This topic is not limited to handbags, but clothes, dining, partying, bills, not working etc, but still trying to kick it and live like you have money!
